Mythic guitar of the SP world: the BAT STRAT! Billy has said he’d like to be buried with this guitar. It is a ‘57 Reissue with Lace Sensor pick-ups (Red, Blue, and Silver), and currently has a “Born to Lose” sticker rather than the one here (probably taken in 1994). However, the Bat-Strat is not Billy’s favorite, which would be a vintage 1974 hand painted yellow stat used on much of Gish. The ‘74 would be stolen while on tour for Gish, and in 2010 BC would offer a $20k/no-questions-asked reward for it.
